There's that term. Book Marketing Buzz. So how do we buzz our books to potential book buyers? One of the key's is a solid marketing plan. A plan that creates interest, attracts the attention of book lovers and promotes and markets one's book to the right audience.

Maybe you have written a children's book. Stands to reason that your audience is not children, but parents and family. Therefore find ways to market that arena.

Maybe you have written a book about a sports figure. How many places and ways can you immediately think of that would attract the attention of sports lovers with regards to your book.

Maybe you have written a book about homeschooling. That's a no brainer, start performing online searches on homeschooling and you will be on the right path.
Regardless of what type of book you have written, there is a audience out there and endless ways to create book buzz for your book. Find them and pursue them.

Author Dianne G. Sagan, The Fisherman's Wife

The Fisherman’s Wife

Synopsis: Johanna marries the man she has loved since they were both children, but it doesn’t turn out quit like she’d dreamed. Her husband Simon works hard at his fishing business on the Sea of Galilee. Johanna established her home, but struggles at giving Simon the children they both want. Her society shames her. They live in a world ruled by Rome and filled with rumors, rebellion, and messiahs. When a new rabbi arrives and calls Simon to follow him, she is left alone and must choose what to believe.

Rebekah Redeemed

Synopsis: Orphaned Rebekah becomes a servant in her uncle’s house in Bethany. Traded from relative to relative, she suffers neglect and abuse. When a Roman soldier assaults her, she flees in fear of her life and hides. Rebekah is discovered and Lazarus becomes her kinsman redeemer. Can Jesus redeem her soul? Can she forgive or break the chains of her past?

Shelter From the Storm

Synopsis: Brittany Camp flees to a short-term shelter for battered women as the worst snow storm in 50 years hits Seattle. She uses the judicial system to fight for her family’s safety but finds herself only one step ahead of her volatile husband who is bent on killing her. This story focuses on courage and hope for a better life rather than the actual violence. Brittany’s journey shows the development of her emotions and personality as she learns how to face the fear and navigate the courts. Can she survive and save her children? Will the authorities believe her? How can she win when her husband, Abel Camp, is so charismatic? What if she loses her children?

A work of fiction, it is based on several women’s experiences. Its purpose is not only to give the reader a suspenseful novel, but to help raise awareness about the plight of the thousands of women who are abused every day. It helps those who never experience the terror to understand the victims, and shows victims that there is a way out that does not include taking personal revenge on their abusers.

Authors & Writers, Buzz Your Books

Have you published a book with a print on demand publisher or have self published through some other means, you will find out what all authors soon learn. That most publishers publish and print books, but perform very little author promotions and book marketing for the author.

Of course you can order the standard book marketing packages and get your books in the online data base and even on Amazon. However there are millions of books in these data basis and listed on endless online bookstore data basis. One question. What are the chances of someone magically searching for you as a author by your name, your book by it's title or the ISBN number? It rarely happens. The truth and reality is that you must promote yourself as a author and market your book to perspective book buyers if you want to sell books.

It's sad, but there are way too many struggling authors that have fallen for the big number catches. Get your book listed on 25,000 online bookstores. Sounds impressive and actually the numbers are, but again the problem is that there you are amidst the millions of other authors and books and no one knows who you are or the title of your book.

It's important that you create and find ways to create strategic expanded marketing if you want to find success which leads to the next problem which is that most authors and writers are not marketing professionals or online specialist.

It amazes me with regards to all the posts, interactions and comments that authors place in author sites hoping to sell copies of their books, to whom, but other authors. Just imagine if one took all that time, effort and interaction and used targeted marketing. That's not to say that the interactions are a waste of time because there are great things to be learned by other authors.

If you are looking for some strategic expanded author promotions and book marketing contact us. We can create a author promotions and marketing plan that will help you get the exposure you need.
