Withdrawing To A Place of Prayer

Luke 5:16 So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.   Prayer is a sign of spiritual life.

Expect to see just as much life in a dead person, as you can see spiritual life in a prayerless person. Your spirituality and your fruit-fulness are always in direct proportion to the reality of your prayers.  One reason for failure is that sometimes some people pray to be seen of men, instead of talking with God.  Jesus’ preaching was always preceded with a time of prayer.  He was constantly surrounded by His disciples or large crowds, with very little time for Himself.

It became necessary for Jesus to find time to pray. Prayer played a very important part in His life, as well as taking a lot of time and strength out of Him.  You must have a daily time for prayer if you are using Jesus as the example for your life.  Ask the Lord to help you have quality time to devote to prayer each day.
