Sam Rawlins, being a retired Veteran himself, originally sought to honor all who serve in our military with their sweat, blood and tears. Coming from the turbulent 60’s Vietnam Era, he witnessed firsthand the trauma and the destructive effects of PTSD during his service as a medical specialist in Southeast Asia.
His life experiences have shaped this novel as he has also witnessed the devastating destruction of living in Oklahoma and Missouri, known as “Tornado Alley.” His inspiration to write this novel was to inspire others in a positive, uplifting and life-changing way and to help others develop a deeper relationship with the Lord. In his many years of life experience (70 and still counting), he knows full well the value of hard work, believing in God, believing in your God-given destiny and encourages all to find their purpose and calling in life.
